DeSantis is an internationally exhibited and
published artist, writer, and professor of
Art and Humanities, who works
and collaborates with
influential artists, writers, and thinkers. His work connects art, science, technology, and consciousness. Tullio writes and publishes
extensively on art and consciousness-related
subjects in his ARTology blog and podcast.
Tullio began working with computers as an
undergraduate in the 1960s – using a
room-size IBM computer. He earned a Master
of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco
Art Institute in 1977. Since then, he has
continued his creative collaborations with
scientists, technologists, and artists in
a series of Internet-based projects.
DeSantis’ teaching career has spanned
the period from 1987 to the present. He served
as Assistant Professor of Art at Alvernia
University, Adjunct Professor of Art at Albright
College, University of St. Francis, Vermont
College of Norwich University, and currently
at Reading Area Community College.
Tullio DeSantis and Dr. Thomas Fink created
MindReflector Technologies, LLC in 2011 to
develop new brain-computer interface tools
to explore and advance human consciousness
and to help make the world a better place.
